Discovery Travel, part of the US$ 4.5 billion global business conglomerate SAK Group, is planning to open representative offices in Vietnam and the Philippines as part of its concerted efforts to drive tourism from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to less-travelled destinations in Southeast Asia and also promote the UAE as a tourism destination in South East Asia.

Gulf Asia Contracting, part of the multi-billion dollar SAK Group, has been awarded over AED 2.28 billion in civil and industrial construction contracts in the United Arab Emirates making it a significant player in the industry even as the SAK Group expands its operations across the region.

This AED 4 billion (US$ 1.1 billion) development is situated right behind the Business Bay Metro Station, and will feature a spectacular mixed-use tower, which will define the Dubai city skyline.
